Description

Oxidising biocides are special chemical agents capable of oxidising organic matter, e.g. cell material, enzymes or proteins associated with microbiological populations, resulting in death of the micro-organism.

Use

(Bleaching agents) These treatments are primarily used for continual disinfection of cooling towers under the HSE ACOP L8 and supporting guidance HSG 274 part 1. They may also be used for disinfection of domestic and other water systems under the HSE ACOP L8 and supporting guidance HSG 274 parts 2 and 3, under the strict guidance of a water treatment professional.

 

(Note all chemicals are supplied in 10Litre Containers for ease of transportation under the Manual Handling Regulations 2002  )
